Since 1972 Kremalis-Law Firm has almost exclusively concentrated on, and is well known for its services in the areas of employment and labor law, as well as in the fields of employee benefits, health, (statutory and occupational) pensions law. Prof. Dr. K. Kremalis, teaches national, international and European social and health law at the University of Athens and abroad. He is also member of the Mediation and Arbitration Organization, where the most important disputes of collective labor law are resolved.
The experience of the highly qualified team of 13 lawyers (all have Ph.D or LL.M post-graduate studies), is broad and covers consulting and litigation work for all the above mentioned branches of law. Recently, a new group of lawyers at Ph.D level in Germany (Heidelberg, Cologne) and in France (Paris) joined the law office offering additional expertise, especially in the domains of insurance, corporate, intellectual property, tax, administrative law, media and internet law.
Kremalis-Law Firm assists with the employee benefits plan design and the implementation of pension products and regulations, as well as with the transfer or merger of undertakings, with the restructuring of group insurance and occupational schemes, with the application of international and European provisions regarding posted or migrant workers. They also counsel executives and provide ongoing advice to human resource managers on employment and social security issues. Finally, they represent companies, but occasionally employees too, in transactions, compensation, tax, health and safety issues litigation.
The firm offers counselling services in the form of legal consultations, contracts or statutes, research projects, and the legal evaluation of acts and proceedings, finding out solutions within the framework of the current legislation, case law and best practices on all key employment, health, tax and pension issues. It has specific expertise on mediation and arbitration procedures and on negotiations for collective agreements.
This dynamic team acts as a very efficient group of experts in meeting the needs of both national and international clients. Between them they speak Greek, French, German, English, Italian, Turkish and Spanish.
