A Multinational Immigration Project
When it comes to providing companies with international workforces with first-class legal advice, Ius Laboris is hard to beat. That’s why one of the largest European operators in the travel world turned to us to resolve its staff immigration issues. The Alliance provided quick, concise local advice on:
- The movement of employees between countries;
- Employees working on the borders of different countries;
- Tax implications; and,
- Social security implications.
The project involved member firms in Italy, France, Russia, Switzerland and The Netherlands, helping the client by delivering seamless, efficient day-to-day assistance with a particular emphasis on employees working cross-border. Some of the key challenges facing the client included home working contracts, a permanent business establishment, double taxation and social security contributions. We know how to deal with such matters, because our single focus is on managing international staffing issues.
