Pensions
Our international pensions practice brings together lawyers from a wide range of Ius Laboris firms who all specialise in pensions law. It is a very active, committed group of individuals that meets regularly and frequently holds client seminars, exchanges knowhow, publishes booklets and newsletters, organises academies for aspiring pension lawyers and makes representations to regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
The European pensions practice members recently compiled the Pan-European Pensions Guide, which sets out some of the main requirements for the operation of cross-border pension arrangements in various jurisdictions, including types of pension vehicles commonly used, authorisation procedures for new schemes, and funding requirements.
Pensions group members have worked together on projects such as Pan-European pension funds, solutions for internationally mobile employees, and dispute resolution.
